You're probably wondering what "Someone Who Understands" as a brand is all about. Well, I'm here to fill in the blanks.
This all started as nothing but a small dream. And as it stands, I've moved from a dream and desire in my soul, to a living and breath testimony that God's plan and ways are much higher than mine.
I wouldn't have been able to dream of doing what I do.

The point of this brand is to remind you of your first love: Jesus.
It's to remind you that you are loved, seen, and known by Him.

Monthly Print Club to remind you that Jesus is enough.
Art has always been a part of my life and for as long as I can remember, I always dreamed of one day having my own art gallery...
That dream has shifted since, not due to lack of loving art but a full circle moment that reminded me... whats the point of art hanging in a gallery if its not impacting lives right now: in the middle of the mess, the mundane, the chaos, the joy, the pain, the hope, the sorrow.
My heart is to present pieces that make you want to draw closer to the Father. Pieces that remind you that you are not alone and that I understand! But even so, there is someone who understands much more, God. He sees you.
Time doesn’t heal all wounds, Jesus does.
May my life and my art be nothing but a testimony of God using a broken vessel for His glory to remind you that He is worthy of it all.
Music...
Music to remind you that Jesus is enough.
Music has been my company on the worst of days and on the best of days. Music has inspired me and reminded me that I’m not alone.
There is something that happens when we’re honest with ourselves and honest with God... When the hurt, the pain, the sorrow, sadness and trauma come to light. I think often of the Psalms... How many times does David start crying out to the Lord about all thats going wrong and his desperate need for help, while reminding Himself of the steadfast love of God.
I think that is very much my heart for writing music and singing. There is no point coming to Him with a closed heart because He already knows.
Something shifts when we come to Him in the mess, the chaos... through it all... When we come to Him in the “Even if” moments and realise He is still good.
May everything I share in relation to music draw you closer to the Father and remind you of whats important -
That He is enough.

Your story is so much more than just a journey of highs and lows... It's moments in time that have helped shape who you have become.
A story captures the heart and soul that otherwise may never have been expressed.
Writing has become my best friend and it has reminded me that there is joy in the sorrow. That God uses it all.
I hope, through sharing my story and the journey thereof, reminds you that you are not alone. That healing still happens.
And I believe that's worth writing about.
